We explore and discover how nature and design intersect. Designers across the centuries have observed nature, investigated its materials, and imitated and abstracted its patterns and shapes.
The boundaries between art and science have blurred. We have two main reasons to create and curate designs inspired by nature. One is simply because the nature is intriguing and beautiful. The second is to make an archive of the biodiversity which is under the threat of disappearing and to trigger people to care, think and act to find ways to conserve plant diversity. Interpretations of nature by design trigger a wide range of human feelings. We believe these feelings will remind us of the connection between humans to nature living in the cities and help bring a collective mind and soul to the conservation of biodiversity.
We want to share the beauty of nature and get people to care about saving species while there’s still time.
